Ancillary Meetings

How to Request an Ancillary Meeting
Deadline: April 7, 2022

​Non-profit organizations, academic institutions and non-commercial study groups topically related to ISTH and/or the ISTH 2022 Congress may apply to hold Ancillary Meetings during the ISTH 2022 Congress. 

For Ancillary Meeting Room requests received after April 7 and before June 3, allocations may still be considered based on remaining availability. No meeting room requests will be considered after June 3, 2022.
 
Guidelines for Ancillary Meetings
Only meeting rooms located in the ExCel London will be appointed by the ISTH. The ISTH does not allow any companies or organizations to schedule education symposia at the meeting rooms. In order to obtain meeting space, all meeting room requests must be submitted via the Meeting Room Request form to ISTH.

Meeting space will only be provided to those companies/organizations that are participating in the ISTH 2022 Congress as an exhibitor, sponsor, and/or participant. 

Type of meetings allowed

  • Non-profit organization meeting (such as Board or committee meetings)

  • Editorial Board meetings

  • Study section/groups or investigator meetings

  • Other business meetings of academic institutions or scientific interest groups

 

Meeting times: 

Saturday, July 9 – Tuesday, July 12 between 07:00 and 20:00
Wednesday, July 13 between 07:00 and 14:00

 

Maximum size or attendance: 20 Boardroom 
 

Maximum length: 2 hours

  • Please note that: Commercial entities may rent (at a cost), Hourly Industry Meeting Rooms – to inquire about availability, please contact: alisa_pachella@isth.org 

 

Standard Set Up and Equipment includes:

  • Boardroom or hollow square style room set up, screen, connection for laptop and multiple power points are included at no cost.

  • Additional furniture, A/V equipment, catering and room setup changes will need to be ordered by the organizers of the ancillary meeting at their costs (ISTH will provide information and contacts for respective providers).

 

Please also note that ISTH will not publicly announce or list any Ancillary Meetings. It is the responsibility of the respective ancillary meeting organizer to inform their meeting participants about all logistics.

 

Cancellations: If your meeting has been approved and changes are necessary, please email meetings@isth.org with any cancellations or changes to your meeting, up until the time of your event. Please note that ISTH cannot guarantee room availability in the case of a change of date/time.
